Overview: Power, Experience, and Armpits come together to make the strongest Miko in Gensokyo. Too bad she can't live up to her reputation. Seriously, LReimu barely struggles to maintain its status as a Last Word, and its most effective set is a gimmick in its own right. A reasonable movepool, but nothing really useful besides a few moves. A Massive Bulk that surpasses Arceus, but a letdown due to its bad typing.
However, LReimu is not completely hopeless. First, it holds a reliable setup move, in the name of Focus Flight (Trade a EReimu, which learns the move). Coupled with its bulk, and a respectable 130 base Atk, it becomes a force to be reckoned with. Second, its Musou Tensei - The OHKO move made infamous in SWR. While not being the [Hax Sign - You Just Plain FXXXing Lose], its still a reliable Stab move capable of crushing others with paralysis on effect. It also gets its most valuable advantage in not getting hit by ground moves, and a immunity to spikes, allowing it to switch and setup freely.
In Conclusion, LReimu is a good Boneka to have around, but the writer still finds it being outclassed by LMomiji, who has a much needed Atk and Speed, or LAya, if one wants a Flying/Normal Attacker.
The Most Common Reimu Set You'll Ever See[]
Nature: Adamant
EVs: 252HP/ 252 Atk/ 4SpeDef
Item: Leftovers
Musou Tensei
Focus Flight
Body Slam
Return/Shadow Ball/Brick Break/Bride Study
There we go. Take hits as much as one can, set up, try to paralyze the enemy with Body Slam, and kill with Musou Tensei. Return for extra power, shadow ball if one doesn't want to waste Musou Tensei on ghosts, Brick Break to take care of Steels who resist both flying and normal, and finally, Bride Study for a reliable recovery move. This set reaches 444 Hp with a 393 Atk, which is not something to be underestimated.
Dual Screens[]
Nature: Impish / Careful
EVs: 252 Hp/ 252 Def or SpeDef/ 6Atk
Item: Leftovers
Musou Tensei
Light Screen
Reflect
Bride Study/Toxic/Body Slam
Here's a Support option. Spikes do no damage, Stealth rock does not exist, the strongest Rock move is Rock Slide, not Stone Edge or Head Smash. Pwnage. If invested in Def, use Light Screen First. If invested in SpeDef, then vice versa.
Other Recommendations: Signal Beam, Lunatic, Counter, Rock Slide, Rock Tomb. Do not use Flying Miko for the same reasons one would not use Shadow Force on a Giratina. It is easily predicted.
Checks/Counters: LMarisa, LCirno, LUtsuho, LKanako, LKana, LYumemi, LChiyuri... the list goes on. These Boneka take advantage of their typings to overpower the Miko, besides LUtsuho, who can at the least 2HKO the Miko, possibly burning and crippling it at the process. LSuwako works well too, just not as much. It can be walled by the dual screens set.
